I came to counselling because I've seen how heavy life can feel when you're carrying things on your own. Many people reach out for mental health support feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or worried that they should be 'coping better'—and I feel that no one should have to navigate that alone.
I believe that you are the expert in knowing what you need. I also understand that this internal voice can sometimes feel lost or silenced, and having someone there to validate and support your processing can make a real difference.
I work with a wide variety of challenges, and am passionate about supporting adults experiencing anxiety, bereavement, anticipatory grief, anxiety about health, processing diagnosis, and medical/surgical treatment.
I also support people navigating relationship transitions.
My approach is relaxed and informal, shaped by experience in healthcare and education, and centred around what feels right for you.
Coming to counselling is a personal decision, and it's important that you feel safe and respected.
I can offer a confidential space where you can talk freely and be truly heard.
If you feel ready to begin, I invite you to contact me to have an initial chat.
You are welcome just as you are.
